In theory, the prospect of creating backup copies seemed promising, but reality took a different path. The implementation of Human Interfaces proved to be highly intricate and prohibitively expensive. Moreover, it spurred the rapid development of anti-cyborg weaponry, with combat software emerging as the most lethal, capable of disrupting bionic body functions and even seizing total control. For politicians and the military, the nightmare of losing command over their own soldiers became a stark reality. However, it turned out to be a somewhat acceptable trade-off, as the benefits of this new technology far outweighed the risks. Nonetheless, contingencies were put in place, with the creation of a Plan B. Enter the Black Stone Commandos, a specialized unit dedicated to reconnaissance, assault, and counter-terrorism in environments where encounters with cyborg soldiers are likely. Equipped with HIs themselves, they serve as a safeguard against potential threats, ensuring the safety and security of their missions.
