Hey all,

Thanks for everyone that has joined me recently and those who've stayed.

The Koikatsu re-install hasn't fixed the major issues that I was priorly suffering. The problems have reared again after trying to animate the major scene in 'Journey of an Alraune'. Objects de-render randomly, the camera movement gets locked into position for no reason unless I reload the software and certain maps and items have disappeared/ don't want to play ball at all. I was going to leave re-installing YET AGAIN until this weekend, but I'm unfortunately going to have to attempt it again today otherwise this portion of the comic won't get done.

Fortunately the last time I did this it took far less time than anticipated (it stated two days) but I managed to get it done in just over a day. I tried to keep my old settings in the last re-install which I'm not doing this time as I think the problem came over with the old settings.

I'm always reluctant to update this software for good reason and I want it operating on full capabilities for the next part of 'Requited Change'. So here we go again...

The software should be reinstalled again for late Thursday, so I'll work through late Thursday, Friday and Saturday to get the comic to y'all Sunday and we'll slip back into the old routine of Sunday uploads again.

Sorry everyone, it's just one of those Koikatsu things. AGAIN.

No problems Hon - thoroughly understand issues with software – deal with it myself with Daz3d and Comic Life. Can I ask why you don't update? Would this help at all?

It was an update that borked it in the first place. The last two times Koikatsu updated the software had issues for me, so I tend to hold off as long as I can on updates as to not suffer this problem. The only way to fix it is be a complete reinstall from my experience.
