Hello everyone, the updates recently have not been positive and this one isn't particularly either. 

As I previously shown, I always feel close to finishing this version but then something happens: a technicality I never foresaw, a real life event that eats up development time etc.

Some of you know about personal goings on in my life at the moment and that they require my full attention. I optimistically hoped that these would not be too much of a hinderance on the development period of v0.04 but it has proved to be. 

I know it is frustrating following a project and hearing 'it shall be out next week' just for another update to say 'it shall be out the week after now'. I know you have all been incredibly patient waiting for this next version to come out, I know I would have been irked if I was supporting a project and it hadn't been updated in a while.

So to make sure that I can deliver a truly awesome experience I am now saying that the TLotK v0.04 shall be released in December at some point. This gives me plenty of wiggle room to add to an experience that I hope you shall enjoy. 

I could maybe rush the update out for Monday but...

... the reality is it would not be a finished version of what I envision. I feel it would be incredibly scummy to release a half-assed update that lacks quality. It is NOT how I operate, nor shall I be going forwards. I would also feel immense guilt knowing that money was given for either nothing or something of poor quality, so this gives all of you generous Patreons an opportunity to save your hard-earned cash, as money does not get charged out of accounts until the end of the month.

For those who decide to cancel their support (I understand) keep an eye on the the TFGames site, when the public get v0.03 that means that v0.04 shall be out! Or just check back every so often during December.

This has upset me in more ways than one, my passion for the project as well as the time and energy sunk into this version won't allow me to release an inferior version that I know I can spruce up with some more time. I have been overly zealous and ambitious in my efforts, and although the new mechanics added to the game shall be beneficial in the long term, the short term means these delays.

As a surprise I was going to mention on the release of V.0.04 that your amazing support has required me to officially start a new business! So part and parcel of the time I need to spend away from development is to actually register as a business in my country! (So what I am saying is part of the development time being lost is your fault!) ;) So this is something to celebrate and I thank you all for it!
