Day 30: DLC Rival Concept Art (Patreon)

I did it! I posted never-before-seen material for 30 days in a row! ...right? I didn't miss a day, did I? I didn't skip directly from 14 to 16 or some other mistake like that, right?
Anyway, for the final day of this 30-day event, I figured that I should post the most exciting behind-the-scenes material I could possibly muster...and I figured that the one thing that people would be most excited to see would be concept art for the "DLC Rivals."
For the past 4 years, the idea of DLC has been the farthest thought from my mind. I've primarily only thought about the criteria for the "base game" becoming 100% complete, not about any potential new content that might be released after the base game is finished. To me, it just feels weird when developers are already planning DLC before their base game is even complete.
However, earlier in development, there was a point in time when I had so many artist volunteers that I decided to request artwork that might only become relevant years down the line - like designing additional rivals that would be released after 202X Mode and 1980s Mode were both 100% complete. During that point in time, the above artwork was produced.
Please note that the some of the planned DLC rivals aren't included in the artwork up above, and that the final designs of the rivals haven been tweaked a bit from what is seen above.
To help keep them at least a little mysterious, I won't be releasing their names or personalities, or describing in thorough detail how their weeks would differ from normal weeks. However, I hope you enjoy looking at the concept art and speculating about them!
