Distracting sniffer dogs is an interesting idea, but it shouldn't stop just there - the dead cat is going to be suspicious in and of itself. The police aren't going to say, "oh, it's just gross animal abuse, nothing to see here!" There should be additional consequences - if you use the dead-cat method there should at least be a reduction in School Atmosphere as other pupils worry about there being a sicko mutilating pets on school grounds, and like how fencing is put up on the roof after someone falls it should cause an environment change - access to the garden is restricted and the tool shed locked outside of club hours, so if you want to use any more garden equipment you either have to break the lock or steal the key from the club president.

Hmm. Fair point. Perhaps she should steal a white lab rat from the Science Club, and bury that, instead? A dead cat is somewhat suspicious, but a dead rat isn't as mysterious. Alternatively, perhaps she could bury coffee beans in the soil; coffee beans have a very powerful smell and could mask the smell of the corpse, fooling even a police dog. Another possibility is going to the Chemistry Lab and brewing up a liquid with a foul smell and spraying it where you buried the corpse, so that the police dogs won't want to go near.

I see some people recommend rats or squirrels as an alternative, but actually catching a squirrel is hard. Plus they like to live in woodland areas. It'll be unlikely for a squirrel to appear (or would deliberately be in) a gated school area with only a few trees in the courtyard and one by the track field. Perhaps the kitten or cat can be an optional animal? Someone on Pateron recommended taking a rat from the lab as a more difficult option. Since that would require stealth to sneak and take, but wouldn't raise up too much of an eyebrow. I think the kitten option would honestly be a quick way to mask a corpse but maybe would bring down atmosphere. A human body wasn't discovered, but it's clear a deranged individual is among the students. Or maybe this is where the Evil Personality students can come into play? For example if you have an Evil Student kill a small creature for you. Oh! Or what if you sneak around and find out an Evil student does kill small animals and take the corpse from them? You can either blackmail them to do similar acts later or even frame them for the animal corpse! Or you can just wait for them to be done with the body and take it while they aren't around.

Well, i don't think that the cops would suspect anything. In Japan, it's normal to bury cat's and other animals that live in the school.

I think there should be more variety than just cats. say, your uncomfortable with killing a cat, but maybe, you'd feel better about killing a snake, or a rabbit?

Yes I think I have found the promise land of where to get in touch with this games dev this took me about 6 to 7 months my gosh time flies when you're determined.

Oh look a video to watch. Ok nice new animation I like the dark creativity putting in that extra effort. That cat option though doesn't look like it would really work to be honest yandere dev if you killed the cat cops aren't going to look at that and" oh look at that just a cat stabbed to death". That would put the school and a higher alert because of that. I say take a page from how some gangsters do with bodies let the player be able to use lemon pledge from science class or janitor's closet and put it on the body it will push that dogs smell away from that area in a different direction because your going to just dumping a balanced amount in the grave to make the dog move away but not strong enough to attract human attention.

Further to my previous comments YandereDev, I just want to clarify that I wouldn't have any problem with killing a kitten in the game - there's been a ludicrous overreaction to it, and especially when you consider that you posted a cat-killing fancomic on the blog and everyone cheered it the negative reaction is hypocritical too. I think it's fine to include a kitten-killing to mask a corpse scent, I'd just think that the method can't be that simple and it needs to have further consequences.

But burning, kidnapping, torture someone is OK? If you don't want to kill a cat in game simply DON'T DO IT, you can choose eliminating method and you don't must kill a cat.

I was thinking this, like surely if a newly dead kitten is found buried on school grounds, wouldn't there be some kind of animal cruelty investigation? or someone looking for their lost kitten. That way it could add more steps and there could even be a separate option to give them their kitten and set up a new set of actions that would allow a different method of getting rid of your rival, but then disallows you to use the garden for bodies because the dog would find them.

XD this is so cool, i was wondering i already have the 'beta' one downloaded but i was wondering as you update the game will it make automatic changes in the one i already have downloaded or would i have to download a different version.

Presently, whenever the game is updated, you have to re-download the entire game all over again. I'm very sorry about that!

YandereDev some people including myself a little bit, are upset because the cat killing idea it would not work in real life this game is to be based on a real life yandere thus the name is yandere simulator right. A cat being stabbed to death would alert the school and yes" technically speaking" it may hide the body, but if you're going to do another killing in real life the school would be on a much higher alert or the police are meant to be smart in this game so if they see something like a dead cat on top they might know that's a tactic to hide a body form gangs doing it and stuff. So that's why the cat should be replace with something as simple as lemon spray sprayed on the body or coffee/coffee beans buried on top of there to elude the dog's senses, because I think the police train their dogs to avoid everyday smell such as coffee/coffee beans I don't know about lemon spray they might but all you would have do for lemon spray is put just enough so the dog can't smell the body and to make sure not to spray so much that the police officer notice it they would not think that a coffee/coffee beans smell would be out of the ordinary in a school or to be caution there should be green tea/green tea herbs instead of coffee/coffee beans because green tea/ green tea erb is more common in japan. I think you should add the lemon spray, coffee/coffee beans, and green tea/green tea herbs as five ways of doing this and it should go by difficulty level to get lemon spray should be easy because it can wear off, with a 18% chance of succeeding the coffee being a little less easy but more powerfull can still wear off with a 38% chance of succeeding, then the upgrading version coffee/coffee beans being relieved not to easy or hard to get but has a much longer time period to not wear off so a 56% chance of succeeding, then next best thing green tea with a 73% chance of succeeding, lastly the king of them all with a 91% chance of succeeding green tea herbs. PS: the coffee would be poured on the body so would the green tea if a person pick one those 2.

It's a game yes but it's meant to be a realistic simulation of a yandere thus the name yandere simulator and that cat kill option would just not work in real life you stabbed a cat to death and buried on top of the body so many things can go wrong like putting the school and the police on higher alert or the police could recognise this tactic because some gangs in japan do to cover up body also so they might just keep digging and find the body.
