Innovades are Vedas terminals with certain coadjuvant roles to fulfil, I think most of them are puppets or real life counterpart of computer models Veda created to test Aeolias theories and that's why there's a conflict between Innovators, in other words Veda is likely testing theories using its terminals as proxy, Tieria and Regene at some degree represent Aeolia's original ideals to restrict Innovades roles to solely support while Ribbons plays the role of devil's advocate and denies that mankind is able to achieve Aeolia ideals by themselves as hes trying to give Innovades the protagonist role, in short I think Ribbons exists because Veda has doubts about mankind being able to fulfil it's role in the plan but that's stupid because Ribbons would never be able to get the last mission done, the dialogues to come/future dialogues.
