I've seen some people call this and yep, Miles just assumed they've been boyfriends all along while Boomer thought it needed to be spelled out. I feel like I rely too much on melodrama sometimes when it comes to making longer arcs (Miles finding out Boomer was initially dating him just to make his ex mad, Zoomer and Miles not getting along, etc) and I figured a misunderstanding coming from how two different generations communicate going steady in a relationship would be a fun way to have conflict, but not have the end of second act "YOU LIED TO ME" shit.

Also panel 4 might be the happiest I've ever drawn Boomer, but I guess the sense of relief from everything having worked out justifies it
