Weapons Designs For August Update (Patreon)

 Hi everybody.

In the 41st Millenium, on every world and sector, there is the constant sound of lasgun cracks, explosions, and many wounded crying or relieved. Everyone would feel safe if they carry some ranged weapon, from a concealed pistol to a massive bolt gun or heavy flamer. Those who choose not to carry weapons, will often meet the same fate as the ancient animals which were preyed upon many millennia ago. Weapons are everywhere even on highly civilized worlds, few would be without hidden pistol or sheathed blade. For the Imperial citizens, weapons are essential and normal as breathing.

So, I’ve been working on designing these new weapons that you can buy  from Styx the Broken. He/she (you decide), understands the correct rituals and blessings as each device requires proper maintanance.

The weapon variation will be added into the game from time to time to give you options for more difficult combat. Every weapon will have their own profile as they have different features and damage hit. So, I'm gonna study real weaponry for inspirations. I believe that weapons can add new dimensions of gameplay and new strategies that player needs to think about incorporate.

It took approximately 2 hours for me to finish the design using procreate. If you have ideas of cool weapon  that you like, feel free to share it with me in discord/patreon's private message. Hopefully I can find one memorable and more gothic weapon design to be added into this game in the future updates.

For starters, I'm just gonna give you these 2 weapons (The less massive size). The laspistol and Incinerator Mark III, which of course each have its own price tag. I like the incinerator for its sleek shape and red color design. It has standard round shape and super dense-metallic core. As for the Laspistols are perhaps the most common weapon accross the Imperium as they are compact and reliable, cheap to make, plus they are easy to maintain. This is the weapon that is used by both, the Imperial officers and gang leaders. This one-handed firearm often used during close combat.

However, you can not use them for combat in this update. You can buy these things this month if you have enough money to spend, but the combat system will be implemented on september's build update.

Overall, this is a fun project for me and hope you enjoy it.
