Today, we delve into the twisted and fascinating world of one of Warhammer 40k's most notorious characters: Lucius the Eternal. Known by many names such as the "Soulthief", "Fulgrim's Champion", "Blade of Aeons", " Lucius is a figure shrouded in both glory and infamy.

Who is Lucius the Eternal?

Lucius is the Champion of the Chaos God Slaanesh and a lord commander of the Emperor's Children Traitor Legion. Once a proud Space Marine, Lucius's descent into madness began with his obsession with perfection in close combat. His body, covered in a maze of scars, tells the tale of countless battles and a mind twisted by the whispers of Chaos.

The Curse of Lucius

What makes Lucius truly terrifying is his unique curse: he cannot be permanently killed. Anyone who slays him and feels even a moment of satisfaction or pride will find themselves transforming into Lucius, their own visage forever trapped within his armor.  This gruesome fate ensures that Lucius continues to stalk the galaxy, an eternal reminder of the dark powers of Chaos.

Weapons of Destruction

Lucius wields the Lash of Torment and the Blade of the Laer, weapons that have tasted the blood of champions and kings across the galaxy. His skill in combat is unmatched, and he leads his warband with an arrogance born of countless victories.
