Switch to subscription billing (Patreon)

Last post for today I promise lol. 

Patreon recently introduced subscription billing as an option, which I've decided to switch to instead of charging everyone on the first. 

Previously, new patrons were charged at the time of pledging, and then on the first of each month going forward. This was kind of wack because if someone signed up on the 27th or something, they'd be charged AGAIN on the 1st. 

Now, new patrons will be charged at the time of sign up, and then on that same date each month going forward. If you are an existing patron, nothing really changes for you and you'll continue to be charged on the first since that's your subscription date already. 

I wasn't sure if this method would work for me, since their support page on it mentioned that subscription billing might not be a good option if you're a creator that "manually expire access to benefits each month (e.g. download links, digital goods)." But after my little pea brain thought about it for a while, I don't see how it could cause any issues with me updating the mega links on the first. 🤔 

Hopefully it's fine since I can't switch back! lmao. 

Anyways, wasn't sure if my switch in settings gave you all an alert or anything, so I just wanted to explain what this change meant.
