OMG okay so I'm rewatching the first few episodes because I felt like some stuff wasn't as fresh in my mind as I thought and up until now I recognized Harwin twice!! but I swear seeing I could not figured out if I had seen him before during this episode. I guess his appearances weren't super memorable but she definitely refered to him by name one time that I saw when she's out with Daemon before that whole sex house house thing! SO I'M SORRY <3

UPDATE : I SAW HIM AGAIN!! geez

I have to say though, my boyfriend was just as confused and had no idea who Harwin was, made me feel a little better lol

You providing an update about Harwin is so funny to me hahaha. But yes we hear about and see Harwin a couple times throughout. The first time is ep 3 when Rhaenyra is coming back from killing the boar and then when he's brought up by Viserys and is described as the strongest knight in the Kingdoms, then we see him in ep 4 stopping Rhaenyra in the alleyway before letting her go, and finally in ep 5 when he stops Rhaenyra from getting trampled in the fight and he carries her to safety. It's not a huge deal that you didn't recognize him since he's now dead, just as long as you know that he's the father of her children. Though his death is quite sad because I do truly think they loved each other and I think Harwin is the one person in her life that has loved her for just being herself, not because she's a Princess and the future Queen. I'm glad that the time jump didn't throw you off too much. A lot of people struggle with it until the middle or even the end of the episode to the point where I even thought about giving you a heads up, but then decided against it because you're a very smart reactor and seem to adjust to things fairly quickly. I think maybe you missed the fact that Viserys is missing an arm. Also Laenor went with the name Joffrey because that was his lovers name that Criston killed. Yes, Daemon has two daughters who are twins. I told you you were blinded by Criston's handsomeness hahaha. He's the definition of an incel, he got denied by Rhaenyra and turned into the worst person who takes his anger out on her innocent children. It's interesting to see that in the 10 years that they've been apart both Rhaenyra and Daemon have seem to have lost that fire inside of them. The thing with Alicent is that yes you can understand why she's mad, but truthfully she's taking her anger out on the wrong person. She's pissed that Rhaenyra has these freedoms and she doesn't, but if she wants to be mad at someone then it should be her father who put her in this position in the first place. Laena knew that she was most likely going to die either way and just a few scenes ago she said that she wanted a dragonriders death so she took matters into her own hands. Yes, he got killed by his own brother. Larys is fucked up, he killed both his father and brother. Getting rid of Harwin makes Larys the new Lord of Harrenhall giving him more power. And getting rid of his father gives Otto the opportunity to come back and work as Hand of the King. Rhaenyra is so clearly Viserys' favorite kid because she's the last thing he has of his previous wife Aemma who he truly loved. Also Jace is like 9 or 10 maybe even younger in ep 6 so of course he's not going to be super skilled with a sword.
