Percy is lured into a trap and finds himself immobilized by a gorgon. Struggle as he might, he can't break the spell placed upon him, his movements no longer his. But rather than being dealt with in the privacy of the gorgon's home, Percy's stripped down and redressed before being brought to the town park. The town itself was full of monsters and all of them eagerly watched as the famous hero of Olympus is humiliated in front of all of them. 

"The hero of Olympus, forever frozen as our own living trophy, displayed for all us monsters as a reminder that no hero can stop us," the gorgon says as they slowly rub the clay onto Percy's oiled up body. "Once the clay dries, it'll become a bronze shell that you'll never escape from. Welcome to your new home, son of Poseidon."
