This type of fusion is from Dragon Ball series, when two characters put these potara earrings on, they'll fuse! In the series, there's also another kind of fusion, which is by doing a fusion dance.

I had already decided to do some Dragon Ball fusions this month, and unfortunately Akira Toriyama passed away little while ago. So this became a small tribute to his work.

Rest in peace, Toriyama-sensei!
