Words can't express how I'm feeling right now. Thank you guys so much for the support for Godson Remake! Everyone is showing their support, so I felt it only necessary to keep it real with you guys right back. Let's talk about a couple of things:

Marnie? Really??:

I remade this game with a big reminder in my head that I need to model Jennifer as best as I can because, in the original, she seemed to be the person everyone liked the most. She was also the person everyone missed the most when Godson shut down in 2021. My focus was big time on her. Marnie, in the original version, was very slim/slender and looked nothing like how she looks now. I thought people would be upset, and I was nervous to even put her in the game like this. She's modeled based on how I picture MILFs in my head. She doesn't look 20 years old and claims to be 40. I been away for a bit, so I had no idea how people would feel about her. So much so that I kind of started veering to stopping myself during character modeling because I like to add a lot of skin detail to my models. Explaining my Blender character-making process would take a long time, however, I will say that I have a particular way of making character models. Because of this and the detail I implement and the skin shader I use (created myself), they always end up looking older (Milfy). But back in 2021, I don't know if it was just me, but looking around, everyone seemed to like slim/slender 20 years old face/body but claiming to be 40 MILFs. At least the popular games that I saw that had MILFs in it that people actually liked looked like this. Maybe it's because that's all there was and all people how to go on, but yeah. Basically, I was very nervous about putting Marnie in the game with how she looks now.

Now imagine my surprise that after I release the game, people are going NUTS over Marnie! It's impossible to explain the total and complete SHOCK that's still going through my head. I thought it would be Jennifer! I'm still in disbelief.

Why am I saying this? Well shit guys, if you want more MILFs with detail like Marnie, hell, you don't have to tell me twice. For the people that were patrons before the release of the remake, you guys have seen me express multiple times in patron posts that I no longer enjoy making young-looking models (partly because of how I make models now and they end up looking older), and that I want Godson Remake to be a MILF game. That's what I said, but I've been on the fence about doing it. So this is what were gonna do... I'm gonna make a patron poll in the next post. All patrons-only can vote on it. It's gonna ask if we should go in the direction of Godson being a MILF-Only game (besides Jennifer and Victoria), or not. Not, means there will just be a variety, but less on the Milfy side. I can very easily make more beautiful MILFs like Marnie with different body types. I take character sculpting very seriously. So be on the lookout for that and make sure to vote on it. The image above is a sneak peak of Marnie's sister (not final version, I have to edit her more now since people like my full MILF style).

Now let's talk about the past and the future:

Most of you know, I had to stop the development of the original Godson back in 2021. This was mostly because life hit hard, if you read the "Shutting Down" post from 2021. But another major reason was that I just didn't have the kind of support on patreon that is here right now. It's just me working on this guys, as it was back then. I'm just one man, and it's a lot of work, so I have to use my time wisely and I have to support myself as we all do. It was kind of a blessing in disguise because even though I left, I never stopped working on things 3D. Every day I been in Blender just improving my craft and I just kept reaching milestones in my opinion. Eventually, in early 2023 I started thinking about possibly coming back and showing what I can do now. I was confident with the skills I have, I could do something crazy. Honestly, I was pretty much at this point in 3D skill maybe at the end of 2022. But I just didn't want to go through that stress again.

But, I'm glad I did come back and the love and appreciation you guys have for my work and my art is unbelievable. I truly thank you. I do have a job irl, but I would love to work on this full-time, as I wanted to do back then. I worked on this remake part-time. The animations aren't longer because I worked on this part-time. v0.1 itself isn't longer because I worked on this part-time. If this becomes a full-time thing with everyone's support, if you think the animations in the game now are pretty good, wait until I can sit and work all day, instead of just a couple of hours. 

So if you're reading this right now, and you like or love the game and what I have to offer, scroll up and click become a patron. Let's not have any of the same issues from 2021, in 2023. If you look up and see 200 patrons or more, you know from reading this, that I'm working on the game full-time. That's my personal goal. 

So if anyone else was wondering what happened back then, it was everything I explained in that "Shutting Down" post, and everything I just explained right now.

Anyway, I again just need to say this man..... Thank you guys so much. You best believe I ain't going nowhere and I'm gonna make Godson one of the best VNs you've ever played, if it isn't already for you.
