HHH's quad tore away from him because it didn't care about anyone else but it.

EDIT: Also, just a quick note that this was recorded before the death of Saliva's Wayne Swinny.

The Amazing Cliff

Come on, we all created Linkin Park "In the End" on our phones. Us 30 / 40 somethings are soooooo cool!

Oh my God Oli, I can't even escape the "Next week! In Winnipeg!" jokes on WT Extra?!

B82REZ is still what I call them.

Every time Luke says Christian is better than Edge I do die a little inside. Like Tempest Edge is my favourite wrestler of all time. He’s at the centre of a lot of my favourite wrestling moments (TLC 2, the 2006 Cena feud, the Wrestlemania 24 match with Undertaker, the 2010 Royal Rumble and No Way Out 2009 being just a few examples). He was also the guy I tried to model myself after in my teen years. Like Edge I also grew my hair out, listened to heavy metal and cheated at most things when I thought I could get away with it. Not with wrestling or schoolwork but with things like board games and video games (yes I was that asshole). I idolised that man, probably more than I should have looking back in hindsight. However, I do see where Luke is coming from to an extent. The feud with Judgement Day has massively overstayed it’s welcome and being so familiar with Edge’s career I am painfully aware of its downsides. His baby face run after the split with Christian is very bland and the La Familia stable was a poor man’s McMahon-Helmsley regime. I’ll be the first to admit Edge’s career is far from perfect. I’m not terribly familiar with Christian’s career. I really enjoyed his 2011 feud with Randy Orton, his program with Jericho in 2003-2004 was also quite fun, his pairing with Tomko was good and obviously Edge & Christian is fantastic. I’m not familiar with his TNA run at all and I’ve only caught his AEW run in bits and pieces but I have enjoyed most of what I’ve seen. I probably should look more into Christian’s career, might come out with another favourite wrestler. I don’t think I’ll end up agreeing with Luke since Edge was a very big part of my childhood but I don’t want to state that as a definite. I don’t even know why I posted this, I guess Luke’s words struck a nerve with me and it’s motivating me to actually challenge my own beliefs about Edge. Because that’s how we grow: if I challenge my beliefs and Edge is still my favourite then I’ll have a newfound appreciation of his career and if Christian turns out to be my new favourite then I have a new wrestler to love. It’s a win-win either way, liking Christian more than Edge doesn’t mean I have to stop liking Edge. If you read all of this all the way through to the end I’m sorry. You basically just read an overly long comment about one man’s inner turmoil on a topic that doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things. I guess it’s just nice to get my thoughts out there, even if this leads absolutely nowhere. To end on the topic of the post I really like the podcast. Love everything that WrestleTalk is doing, keep up the great work lads.

Guys you are not the only ones who know about Ali G references like b82rez. My favourite moment from the movie is either the drum and bass scene with Ali G dancing in his car or the "put it on vibrate and finish yaself off" scene haha

Nick Smith

I'm convinced WWE made the Drowning Pool song the theme for 18 then booked Saliva to open, because they couldn't tell the difference between the 2 bands.

Ive heard some theories why the rock is so Jacked now... it rhymes with Hair-oids

Richaffinito

Yes! best fuckin day of the month. Literally the only thing I look forward too anymore!

Richaffinito

Yea, 1000%. No one is NATURALLY that big. Your body literally is not built to carry that much muscle. That’s why he kept getting hurt when he fought John cena. His muscles were stretched so tight around his entire body that putting too much strain made them go pop

Richaffinito

This may be the MOST plausible “conspiracy” theory since the gvt killed mlk 😂😂😂

Rob Wood

I showd my GF that promo the other day and it's not as bad as i remembered

Richaffinito

1st off, Christian is better. That’s not opinion. 2nd. Being Canadian doesn’t automatically make other Canadians good people, probably shouldn’t need help with that realization. 3rd, edge is a certified piece of shit and has no ability in the ring. His “spear” is really just a slightly aggressive hug. It’s actually pathetic. 4th he’s still just a piece of shit human. Hopefully this helps you reconcile your feelings about this undeniably piece of shit human. Who is, indeed, one of the biggest pieces of shit to have ever been shat.

Richaffinito

also the judgement day is shit bc the judgement day is shit. That has NOTHING to do with edge but the judgement day is UTTER bullshit

Phillip Dumas

They do realize they've already reviewed 30 right

Damn Luke burying Saliva. It’s my favourite band and Drowning Pool is my second favourite band. I think Forceable Entry is a great album personally. And Nope Luke you’re wrong, Edge is better then Christian. DDP drove the cadillac at Mania VI for Honky Tonk Man and Greg Valentine. DDP was also in the Andre Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32.
