With Oli away, Luke is joined by Tempest to review WCW Bash at the Beach 1996 - but who's side is he on?!

They also rag on Disco Inferno. A lot.

God that Bash at the Beach/Outsiders theme is fucking awesome. As someone who was born a few weeks after this event and as such, someone who started watching wrestling well after it closed, WCW fascinates me to no end. Also, you guys over there in the UK now know how hot it is here in Australia every year. What you guys have been going through is an average summer for us.

You are right at the end when you say everyone watching it tuned into Nitro the next day. It's so effective that I watched the next nights Nitro immediately after rewatching the PPV.

Dr. Judge, Private Eye

I know Luke's a fan of the AE Podcast, and I have to wonder if he's seen the brilliant realization of "Disco Dickface."

The Jankyard

Is it terrible that when the podcast started, I wanted to hear Luke say to Tempest: "Man in the mask, you're looking scrumptious, as always."

Callum Lucas

Just caught this. Currently listening to it in work. So great to have Tempest on one of these, such a knowledgeable wrestling fan!

Next month podcast should be Heat Wave 98

Your praise of meltzer is so fucking LAUGHABLE. Like you don’t know anything about that dude or how he works do you? You yourselves are supposed to objective journalists and you put this tabloid writer on a pedestal… the fuck kinda bullshit are you peddling here? Are YOU on HIS payroll? Is he your biggest Patreon? This is a fucking joke 😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡

BC_Auron

There are very few people who consider themselves "journalists" in the wrestling sphere... pretty sure Wrestletalk call themselves aggregators and nothing more. Also... does it really matter if they like Meltzer or not? I don't care one way or the other about him, but liking him shouldn't really be that offensive and if it is... care about more important things.
