PETE: Hello Pledgehammers!

It's time to get your votes in for what you want Oli & Luke to review for the March 2022 episode of WrestleTalk Extra! All these suggestions came from our lovely $25+ Pledgehammers, and we have a lovely bunch of people here on Patreon, so be those lovely people! Every suggestion is valid. Happy voting!

Previous March episodes have been: WrestleMania XIX, WrestleMania XXVI, WrestleMania XX, and WrestleMania XXV!

WWF WrestleMania 10 [1994] (suggested by Marcus Campbell)
WrestleMania 10 is renowned for having one of the best WrestleMania openers of all time in Bret Hart vs Owen Hart, as well as the second ever Ladder match in WWF/E history with Razor Ramon vs Shawn Michaels for the Intercontinental Championship. The main event also saw Bret Hart wrestle again, this time against Yokozuna for the WWF Championship with Roddy Piper as the special guest referee. There was also another WWF Championship match on this show too, with Yokozuna vs Lex Luger earlier in the night.

WWF WrestleMania 12 [1996] (suggested by Nate S)
The main event of WrestleMania 12 was Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels in a 60-minute Ironman match for the WWF Championship. Elsewhere on the card was the now-infamous Hollywood Backlot Brawl between Roddy Piper and Goldust, as well as Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Savio Vega, The Ultimate Warrior vs a young Hunter Hearst Helmsley, The Undertaker vs Diesel and more.

WWF WrestleMania 13 [1997] (suggested by Chuck Turner)
Most well known for the frankly iconic Submission match between Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin which featured one of the most well executed double turns in history, this show also featured The Undertaker vs Sycho Sid in the main event for the WWF Championship, HHH vs Goldust, Rocky Maivia vs The Sultan for the Intercontinental Championship, and more.

WCW Uncensored 1999 (suggested by Rob James)
The main event of this show saw Ric Flair take on Hollywood Hulk Hogan in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage First Blood Match for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, with the stipulation being that if Ric Flair won he would become President of WCW, but if he lost he would be forced to retire. Makes sense to me. Also on this show was Kevin Nash vs Rey Misterio Jr., Chris Benoit & Dean Malenko vs Curt Hennig & Barry Windham for the Tag Titles, Perry Saturn vs Chris Jericho, Booker T vs the Patron Saint of WrestleTalk Extra Scott Steiner and more.

ECW Living Dangerously 1999 (suggested by Chris Petrou)
The main event of this show saw a title unification of the ECW World Heavyweight and FTW titles between ECW Champ Taz and FTW Champ Sabu in an Extreme Death match, which I assume is somehow different to other ECW matches. Also on this card was Tommy Dreamer & Shane Douglas vs Impact Players, Spike Dudley & Sid vs The Dudley Boyz, RVD vs Jerry Lynn and more.

WCW Greed [2001] (suggested by Ryan Stewart)
This was the final PPV WCW ever put on, and it was main evented, of course, by the Patron Saint of WrestleTalk Extra Scott Steiner vs DDP in a Falls Count Anywhere match for the WCW World Title. Elsewhere on the show, Booker T faced Rick Steiner for the United States title, Dustin & Dusty Rhodes faced Ric Flair and Jeff Jarrett, Shane Helms faced Chavo Guerrero Jr. for the Cruisweight Title and more.

TNA Victory Road 2011 (suggested by Garrett Albright)
Oh dear. This show is really known for one thing and one thing only. That being Jeff Hardy's unfortunate appearance while inebriated in his main event match against Sting, which was forced to be cut short and ended immediately. Uncomfortable stuff. Elsewhere on this show was AJ Styles vs Matt Hardy, Beer Money Inc. vs Ink Inc. for the Tag Titles, Mr. Anderson vs RVD, Kazarian vs Jeremy Buck vs Max Buck vs Robbie E in an Ultimate X match for the X Division title and more.

I kindof want them to do victory road just to get it over with and not have to think about it again

Dr. Judge, Private Eye

Damn, I was really hoping for Greed. There's no trainwreck like a late-stage WCW trainwreck.

Chris Petrou

WM 10 was an awesome one. A classic PPV.

AH

Finally victory road

The Zack Delusion

Very surprised Greed didn’t do that well.

I wish there was a way to not see percentages until after you voted
