PETE: Hello Pledgehammers, it's time to get voting for what show you want to hear Oli and Luke review for July 2021! Remember - every suggestion is valid, and we have a lovely bunch of people here on Patreon. Be those lovely people. Previous July episodes include WCPW Built To Destroy, WWF InVasion 2001, TNA Destination X 2011, and WWE Money In The Bank 2011!

WCW Bash At The Beach 1996 (suggested by Jonathan Hedman)
One of the most well-known shows in wrestling history, simply because of the closing angle and match of show, where the nWo formed due to a Hulk Hogan heel turn. Elsewhere on the show though, DDP faced Jim Duggan in a Taped Fist Match, Rey Misterio Jr. faced Psychosis, Dean Malenko faced Disco Inferno for the Cruiserweight Championship, Ric Flair faced Konnan for the United States Championship and more.

WWF In Your House 16: Canadian Stampede [1997] (suggested by Austin Shrock)
Possibly the shortest card ever suggested on WT Extra, this show was main evented by The Hart Foundation [Bret & Owen Hart, Jim Neidhart, Brian Pillman and The British Bulldog] vs Ken Shamrock, Goldust, The Legion of Doom and Stone Cold Steve Austin. The show also featured The Undertaker vs Vader, The Great Sasuke vs Taka Michinoku, and Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs Mankind. That's the whole, very highly rated, card.

WCW Bash At The Beach 2000 (suggested by Ryan Stewart)
Well. 4 years after Hogan was involved in one of the defining successes of WCW, here he was involved in one of the nails in the coffin. Featuring Jeff Jarrett laying down for Hogan in the title match, Hogan cutting a shoot promo, followed by Vince Russo cutting one back, reversed decisions, and somehow Booker T left the show as World Champion. Also, Goldberg vs Kevin Nash, Shane Douglas vs Buff Bagwell, Chris Kanyon vs Booker T, and Vampiro vs The Demon in a Graveyard filled this card.

WWE Vengeance 2003 (suggested by Andrew Mercogliano)
Headlined by Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle vs Big Show for the WWE Championship, this card also saw Mr. McMahon vs Zach Gowen, The Undertaker vs John Cena, The World's Greatest Tag Team vs Billy Kidman & Rey Mysterio for the Tag Team Titles, Eddie Guerrero vs Chris Benoit for the vacant United States Championship and more.

WWE The Great American Bash 2008 (suggested by Robert Spence)
In what is a pretty stacked card in retrospect, Triple H vs Edge for the WWE Championship headlined the show, with CM Punk vs Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship, JBL vs John Cena in a Parking Lot Brawl, and Chris Jericho vs Shawn Michaels making up some of the rest of the card.

WWE Money In The Bank 2012 (suggested by Duncan)
The two MITB matches on this card were quite the extremes, with the World Heavyweight one featuring Dolph Ziggler, Christian, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Santino Marella, Sin Card, Tensai and Tyson Kidd, while the WWE Championship one featured John Cena, Big Show, Chris Jericho, Kane and The MIz. Elsewhere CM Punk faced Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship with AJ Lee as the special guest referee, and Sheamus faced Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship.

WWE Money In The Bank 2013 (suggested by Garrett Albright)
One year later, The Shield were on the pre-show defending their tag team titles against The Usos. That's pretty wild. The World Heavyweight MITB match saw Damien Sandow, Cesaro, Cody Rhodes, Dean Ambrose, Fandango, Jack Swagger and Wade Barrett go for the briefcase, while the WWE Championship one saw Randy Orton, Christian, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, RVD and Sheamus go for that briefcase.

NJPW Dominion 2015 (suggested by Nate S)
As with most/all NJPW shows around this time and for the next few years, this is a stacked card, with the headliner being Kazuchika Okada challenging champion AJ Styles for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Hirooki Goto faced Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental Championship, Gallows & Anderson faced The Kingdom for the IWGP Tag Team Championship, Kushida faced Kenny Omega for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship, oh and there's also The Young Bucks vs reDRagon [Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish] vs Roppongi Vice for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship. Crikey.

WWE Battleground 2016 (suggested by Lendell Brenson)
The one and only Shield Triple Threat took place on this show in the main event, as well the "final" match between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens (lol), The Wyatt Family vs The New Day, Enzo, Cass and John Cena vs The Club, and more.

Impact Slammiversary 2020 (suggested by Marcus Campbell)
Just last year, fresh off the first instalment of WWE releases, speculation was high on who would be joining Impact. A few of them showed up, as well as matches such as Eddie Edwards vs Ace Austin vs Trey vs Rich Swann vs freshly returned Eric Young for the vacant Impact World Championship, The North vs Ken Shamrock & Sami Callihan, Chris Bey vs Willie Mack, Deonna Purrazzo vs Jordynne Grace, and more.

That was difficult, those all sound very appealing. I don't ill mind which one wins tbh

While I’d love Bash At the Beach 2000, would surely make sense to hear BAB 96 first so I voted for that one. Not too fussed which wins though, they all sound good.

I love the bad PPV reviews the same way I love bad movie reviews: not all the time, but great when they come up.
