Ahead of Night Two, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Prince Devitt (Finn Balor) teamed to take on their respective challengers - Satoshi Kojima & Taka Michinoku. NXT TakeOver: Portland [2020] (suggested by Marcus Campbell)
Adam Cole faced Tommaso Ciampa in the main event of this show, featuring a Johnny Gargano heel turn on Ciampa, while Rhea Ripley faced Bianca Belair for the NXT Women's Championship, who one year later would be the final two competitors in the women's Royal Rumble.
