Hello Pledge Hammers!

It's that time, once again, for everybody to jump aboard the POOOOOOOOLL TRAIN! Read all the choices down below and make your voice heard! And remember, don't be a dick about the choices or the what people have voted for. This is a cool community full of nice people. Be those nice people.

WWF SummerSlam 1992 (suggsted by Soren Nordh)
One of the more famous SummerSlams, this one took place in the UK and was main evented by what is considered one of the best matches in WWE history - British Bulldog vs Bret Hart for the Intercontinental Championship. Elsewhere Randy Savage and Ultimate Warrior faced off for the WWF Championship.

WCW & NJPW Collision In Korea [1995] (suggested by Flame Inc. Live)
Also known as Pyongyang International Sports and Culture Festival for Peace, this show was main evented by two legitimate legends of the industry in different parts of the world: Antonio Inoki vs Ric Flair.

WCW Road Wild 1997 (suggested by Stephen and Giovanna)
In what has been called "an afterthought" and "a waste of time" by reviewers, WCW Road Wild 1997 saw The Giant face Randy Savage, Curt Hennig vs DDP, Ric Flair vs Syxx, and in the main event, Hulk Hogan vs Lex Luger for the WCW World Championship.

WWF SummerSlam 1998 (suggested by Chuck Turner)
Triple H faced The Rock for the Intercontinental Championship, Ken Shamrock faced Owen Hart in a Lion's Den match, and Stone Cold Steve Austin faced The Undertaker for the WWF Championship.

ECW Heat Wave 1998 (suggested by Chris Merryman)
In what some have called the best ECW PPV of all time, ECW Heat Wave 1998 saw Taz take on Bam Bam Bigelow, Masato Tanaka vs Mike Awesome, RVD & Sabu defend their ECW Tag Titles and Tommy Dreamer, Sandman and Spike Dudley vs The Dudley Boyz in the main event.

NWA/TNA PPV #8 [2002] (suggested by Marcus Campbell)
R-Truth defeated Ken Shamrock for the NWA Title. Yes, that did happen. Granted, he was Ron Killings at the time, but even so. The show was main evented by AJ Styles vs Jerry Lynn vs Low-Ki.

WWE SummerSlam 2002 (suggested by Zander Mania)
This card is absolutely stacked, including Ric Flair vs Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle vs Rey Mysterio, The Undertaker vs Test, Shawn Michaels vs Triple H in Michaels' return to the ring, and the main event of Brock Lesnar vs The Rock in which Lesnar became a megastar.

WWE SummerSlam 2004 (suggested by Ryan Stewart)
John Cena faced Booker T in the culmination of their best of five series, Kurt Angle faced Eddie Guerrero in a Submission match, JBL faced The Undertaker for the WWE Championship, and in the main event, Randy Orton faced Chris Benoit for the World Heavyweight Championship.

WWE SummerSlam 2010 (suggested by DAN)
Oh Dan. He's trying it again. The infamous show where The Nexus had their first big match against Team WWE and...lost. Boo etc. Also featuring Randy Orton vs Sheamus, Kane vs Rey Mysterio for the WHC, and Big Show vs The Straight Edge Society. The whole group. By himself.

WWE SummerSlam 2014 (suggested by Justin Edelheit)
Seth Rollins faced Dean Ambrose in a Lumberjack match, Bray Wyatt faced Chris Jericho, Stephanie McMahon had a rare showing against Brie Bella, but this SummerSlam is most well-known for Brock Lesnar vs John Cena in one of the most one-sided affairs in John Cena's career.

Lucha Underground Ultimate Lucha 1 Part 2 [2015] (suggested by Lynne Belle)
In the season finale of Lucha Underground, Johnny Mundo (John Morrison) faced Alberto El Patron (Alberto Del Rio), Pentagon Jr. faced Vampiro, there was a 7-way match for the inaugural Gift of the Gods Championship, and in the main event, Prince Puma (Ricochet) defended his Lucha Underground Championship against Mil Muertes.

NJPW G1 Climax 25 Finals [2015] (suggested by Sean Blanford)
Young Bucks vs reDRagon (Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish), Kushida vs Ricochet, AJ Styles, Gallows & Anderson vs Okada & The Kingdom, and the G1 finals of Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Shinsuke Nakamura. Now that is a stacked card.

ROH Field of Honor 2016 (suggested by Jonathan Hedman)
As always with ROH shows around this period, this shows a glimpse of wrestling's future, with Kushida vs Dalton Castle, Bobby Fish vs Evil, Michael Elgin vs Donovan Dijak, a Tag Team Gauntlet match featuring The Addiction, The Briscoes, War Machine, the team of Shane Taylor and Keith Lee (yes please) and more, Kyle O'Reilly vs Katsuyori Shibata, and the main event of Adam Cole vs Jay Lethal vs Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Tetsuya Naito.

NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II [2016] (suggested by Lendell Brenson)
Featuring one of the best NXT tag team matches of all time with The Revival vs DIY, this card also saw Asuka vs Bayley, Ember Moon vs Billie Kay, and was main evented by Shinsuke Nakamura vs Samoa Joe for the NXT Championship.

NJPW/ROH/RevPro/CMLL War Of The Worlds UK Night 2 [2017] (suggested by Tyler Bailey
This crazy cross-promotional event saw Bushi, Evil & Tetsuya Naito of LIJ take on Bully Ray and The Briscoes, Kushida defend his ROH Television Championship against Dalton Castle, Hiromu Takahashi and Marty Scurll, The Young Bucks face future AEW cohorts Frankie Kazarian & Christopher Daniels (The Addiction) and the main event saw Cody defend his ROH World Championship against Sanada.

10 years ago The Nexus lost and it one of, if not, Cenas biggest burial. So much to dive into. Would be lovely to celebrate the anniversary with a podcast

Chris Smith

Dans gonna keep voting SS10 every year. We might as well let him have it.

Steveisnotmyname

So SS10 is winning then? You freaking sadists. Lol Poor Luke and Oli.

Callum

Summer slam 2010 only just wins congrats dan you finally did it

Robert Rose

Before it comes up incorrectly over and over Edge & Jericho were talking about Cena choosing to take the DDT on concrete and no sell it NOT that he refused to lose to Nexus. Both Jericho and Cena have clarified that it was a Vince decision to have Nexus lose, but Cena was the one in charge of how he won, but "Cena refused to job to Nexus" just feels so much better to accept because it was so disappointing they lost.

I would have preferred 2002 to win as it is one of my favourite shows of all time. I wasn't watching in 2010 but I've gone back and watched it recently. It's going to be a fun main event to hear you guys talk about.
