New Sales Tax - Information (Patreon)

Hello Pledgehammers!

As some of you may have been emailed (or not, Patreon isn't very clear on it), there are some new sales tax guidelines coming into effect tomorrow, July 1st. Essentially, what it boils down to is that in some regions of some countries, you may be charged slightly more for your pledge.

Unfortunately, we don't know which regions and countries will be affected, nor do we know how much the pledges will be increased by. From what we can gather, the absolute maximum it should be increased by is something like $0.50 for a $5 pledge, but that's in rare scenarios.

We just wanted to give you all a heads up as your pledge may cost you slightly more depending on where you are in the world!

This also seems like a good time to say thank you - thank you for all your support during this time. It really does mean the world to us and I can comfortably say that we wouldn't be able to do what we do without your awesome support. You're all amazing!
