Luke and Oli take a trip back to 2015 NXT, when shows still came from the Performance Centre, an era before Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Roode, Drew McIntyre, Adam Cole, and Samoa Joe (just). It's NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable - featuring Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn for the NXT Championship, Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch for the NXT Women's Championship, and Blake & Murphy vs. Enzo & Cass for the NXT Tag Team Championships!

This is when I became an official NXT aficionado, still am today, despite AEW's best efforts. Funny how Becky, the only one of the 4HW that didn't win the NXT Championship, might be the most popular of them all. Also, the debut of Samoa Joe with the funky music was particularly amusing. Food for thought : See You Again by Wiz Khalifa was the theme song of Fast and Furious 7, as a tribute to Paul Walker. Thanks for this great review guys

It’s funny how people at the time kept saying Bayley could be the female John Cena when it was ultimately Becky who would be that.

Same for me. Owens was so amazing back then. You guys are right, it's like the main roster isn't allowed to have guys that are edgy or threatening unless it's Brock Lesnar these days

2023-06-04 12:23:51 Rewatching this makes me realise these guys & girls are really great & I was so into Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn. Shame we’ve all been systematically chipped away. I have no faith Vince will book Riddle right & he’ll be jobbing to Corbin with in three weeks.
