Hello Pledge Hammers!

It's time for you to cast your votes on what the next episode of WrestleRamble Extra should be for the month of May! Check through the choices, and use the poll below to have your voice heard!

WWF In Your House: Beware of Dog (suggested by Nate (Dropped Surname))

We kick things off with the Dark Timeline of WWF in 1996, where Shawn Michaels defends his title against The British Bulldog. I'm sure HBK won't use his backstage clout to mess this one up. Also on the show, Golddust goes against The Undertaker, Yokozuna faces Vader, and Savio Vega and Steve Austin have a rather dark match.

WWF Over the Edge: In Your House 1998 (suggested by Lendell Brenson)

Can Steve Austin over come the odds when he defends his WWF Championship against Dude Love with Vince McMahon as the Special Guest Ref? And can Kane keep his mask when he takes on Vader? And can Sable keep her job when she faces her boyfriend Marc Mero?!

ECW Hardcore Haven 1999 (suggested by DAAAAN!)

It's just before the fall of ECW when everyone started to leave for the bigger contracts of WWF and WCW, so enjoy Taz defend his ECW World Championship against Bubba Ray Dudley, Rob Van Dam take on Jerry Lynn for the TV Title, and Sid Vicious is in action against Justin Credible.

WCW Slamboree 2000 (suggested by Phil Stopford)

Yep, it's *that* show, the one where WCW held a triple decker cage match where Jeff Jarrett and Diamond Dallas Page vye to become WCW World Heavyweight Champion currently held by DAVID ARQUETTE. Also on the show, Billy Kidman takes on Hulk Hogan, Sting faces Vampiro, Shawn Stasiak takes on Curt Hennig, and Shane Douglas faces Ric Flair. It's a packed show!

WWE Insurrextion 2002 (suggested by Jere Pesonen)

It's a post brand split world, and WWE are off to jolly ol' England for a night of graps! Triple H takes on The Undertaker in the main event, Steve Austin faces Big Show, and - oddly - The Hardy Boyz take on Brock Lesnar AND SHAWN STASIAK?! Was that a mistake?

WWE Judgement Day 2002 (suggested by #TeamLOL)

Can you believe it? Hulk Hogan defends the WWE Championship against The Undertaker In TWO THOUSAND TWO. Also on the show, Rico & Rikishi take on Billy & Chuck for the Tag Titles, Triple H faces Chris Jericho in a Hell in a Cell match, and Edge takes on Kurt Angle in a hair vs. hair match. It's the PPV that made Luke leave the world of pro rasslin' for a bit.

TNA Hard Justice 2005 (suggested by Michael Montgomery)

Just a couple of years later, a small upstart called Total Nonstop Action was making some noise, and people were listening (including this guy right here). The main event sees Jeff Jarrett defend the NWA Worlds Title against AJ Styles with Tito Ortiz as the special guest ref, while Christopher Daniels defends his X Division Championship against Shocker, and Raven takes on Sean Waltman in a CLOCKWORK ORANGE HOUSE OF FUN MATCH.

NJPW Wrestling Dontaku 2009 (suggested by Th0mm0)

I'll be honest, Google is not bringing up an image for this event. However, the show is real, and sees Hiroshi Tanahashi defend his IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Hirooki Goto, CIMA teams with Jushin "Thunder" Liger to take on Koji Kanemoto and Tiger Mask, and Chaos of Shinsuke Nakamura and Toru Yano take on GBH of Togi Makabe and Tomoaki Honma, and the Chaos team of Giant Bernard and Karl Anderson take on the Tencozy team of Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Satoshi Kojima.

WWE Over The Limit 2010 (suggested by Robert Spence)

John Cena and Batista clash for the WWE Championship in an I Quit Match, Big Show takes on Jack Swagger for the World Heavyweight Championship (Swagger is champ at this point which is easy to forget), Edge and Randy Orton face off, and Rey Mysterio takes on CM Punk in a Pledge vs. Hair match!

WWE Extreme Rules 2014 (suggested by Sarmad Ali)

One month on from WrestleMania XXX, and The Shield take on Evolution (including Bluetista), Bray Wyatt clashes with John Cena in a Steel Cage Match, and Daniel Bryan defends his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against his former tag partner Kane. Also, Paige has  a match with Tamina. No, seriously.

ROH War of the Worlds 2014 (suggested by Jonathan Hedman)

Check this out for a card! AJ Styles defends the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Michael Elgin and Kazuchika Okada, Adam Cole defends the ROH World Championship against Jushin "Thunder" Liger, reDRagon defend their ROH Tag Championships against The Young Bucks and Shinsuke Nakamura faces Kevin Steen! All that and much more!

NXT TakeOver: Chicago (suggested by Stefan Riddock)

It's a big night for the United Kingdom Championship, as Tyler Bate defends it against Pete Dunne in an absolute classic. Meanwhile, Bobby Roode defends the NXT Championship against Hideo Itami, Asuke continues her dominance in a match against Nikki Cross and Ruby Riott, and Authors of Pain defend their tag titles against #DIY. Don't think anything can go wrong for that team...

OTT Scrappermania 4 (suggested by Dylan Tyrrell Reeve)

And rounding off this month's list is OTT Scrapermania 4! Featuring Jordan Devlin defending his OTT World Title against Zack Sabre Jr., Minoru Suzuki takes on Keith Lee, Tomohiro Ishii faces Jeff Cobb, Will Osprey clashes with Matt Riddle, and Mark Haskins takes on Tyler Bate and Scotty Davis in a triple threat!

I just rewatched Chiampa vs Gargano from the Cruiserweight Classic... what a fantastic bit of in ring storytelling that sowed seeds (intentionally or not) for “that night” in Chicago...

I would love Slamboree...but the people have spoke . Though...how about a Luke exclusive on that EPIC (JK) event.

Anonymous

They're trying their best to put us off picking WWE events lol. Still looking forward to whatever wins!

Marco Talin

Funny. I'm doing an NXT marathon, and I just finished watching NXT Chicago and Brooklyn 3. What excellent timing

Jere Pesonen

Could you guys please spell My name right :)

I feel like we'll have to sit through every WWE and WCW PPV of the 1990s and 2000s before we'll ever get a NJPW show, aside from WrestleKingdoms... God I miss the old RambleClub for that content.

AH

I loved the idea of doing something different than wwe like roh war of the worlds of the wcw slamboree but then someone had to put nxt chciago on the list and I'm going to choose that of course

Chris Smith

I'm sure they already did Takeover Chicago when it happened. Yes it's fun to look back, with a new perspective, but it's only been 2 years. Vote anyway.

I know, I know, I'm not blaming you or anyone else, if the majority wants to hear your reviews about these shows, they absolutely have the right to do so, I just felt like expressing my frustration after seeing how few votes the New Japan Show got again.

Ryan Sanderson

Takeover: Chicago absolutely! I remember watching that when I was supposed to be doing Philosophy revision, NXT comes before education

that guy who want to support

I really agree. I also miss the old rambleclub because I always knew we we're getting something positive (I don't blame them for being negative it's hard being positive with the current WWE program)

Josh Razauskas

Come on y’all let’s get a win for War of the Worlds, one of the best cards ever!

Same. It was so nice to hear them just talk about things they actually enjoyed, where the critical points were maybe a missed facial reaction or a Canadian Destroyer on the apron being a setup move instead of two thirds of an entire show, maybe more. I still revisit those podcast episodes for hour-long drives because I've grown so fond of them. Oli and Luke debating which one of the G1 Climax matches should take up which place in their rankings alongside Gargano-Ciampa III, or the April (or May, not sure) Episode, where they just covered the entire rise of Zack Sabre Jr. in New Japan throughout the New Japan Cup. Those reviews were the reason, that I started watching New Japan and they honestly were my favourite thing about being a patron. I get that it was too much research and I fully understand why they don't do them anymore, but I really really miss them.

Phil Stopford

I've won twice with 2 TNA's picks. We've had 1 NJPW review, 1 WCW review and the other 16 have been WWE.

Papa_Rican

Had to vote for IYH:BOD I was there that night. Crazy crazy night
