Hello $5+ Pledge Hammers!

After coming close to winning the poll this time last year, WWF's Badd Blood 1997 is our topic for November's WrestleRamble Extra and... well it's certainly a show. We can't say it was a good one but it had a hell of a main event of Shawn Michaels taking on The Undertaker in the first-ever Hell in a Cell match - featuring the debut of Kane. However the show was slightly marred by the sudden and tragic death of Brian Pillman and that threw a lot of the show out of whack.

Luke and Oli go in-depth on Badd Blood 1997 including the death of Brian Pillman with plenty of notes from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter from the time, as well as Wade Keller's INSANE ratings of the matches on the card itself.

During this period in WWF there were a lot of little person matches on PPV's, mostly involving Max Mini, because he's "the smallest athlete in the world" and I guess Vince thought that that was funny.

I remember when they revived the mini's division in about 2007 or 2008 on Smackdown. It was terrible.

Hello again guys. Hey Olli just so you know the reason the Owen farooq match was heel vs heel is bc it was already announced that stone cold (a face) would challenge the winner to try and get his belt back after he had to relinquish it. Also you guys didn’t mention one of my favorite adlibbed wrestling moments. Which is while stone cold is on the Spanish headset and one of the bouncers says something in Spanish, and of course, Spanish when spoken by someone fluent is very fast and seems linked together at points so for a non speaker it would’ve been very hard to understand. And stone cold totally deadpan goes “you can say that again” pops me every single time 😂😂
