I will post this here in the meantime - The WWE was everywhere during the Attitude era - everyone was a star, everyone could main event a PPV & could be seen on TV shows outside the WWE universe and the ratings were insane. The Attitude era benefited from the WWE making a deliberate effort to invest and push their stars - Austin, Undertaker, HHH (his took a while though), along with outside exposure – appearances on Weakest Link, Star Trek, SNL - all helped make the WWE stars into ‘Superstars’. And that investment is largely why they receive so much fanfare during Wrestlemaina season. Yet PG era has less stars, less maineventers, and less mainstream exposure, but it has more TV deals and national sponsorships but the ratings are very low – even if I personally think they now have probably the most talented roster in years. AJ Styles, Ceasro, Nakumura, Sami Zayn, are really charismatic guys and put in front of the a mainstream audience they’d blow people away. But my question is - which ‘ERA’ has made more money for WWE as a whole?
