This took way longer than I wanted because I'm really picky about animal design.... drawing the human planet critters was a breeze though. If only my job was to just draw bugs and fish floating in a void all day.

The little chicken feet on the chabbit are so cute, and the little beady eyes on the adult female insect from Talita's world makes me wanna pet that bug. Seeing how popular invertebrates are for Human food has me wondering about something. Currently some cricket for human consumption foods come with warnings for those allergic to shellfish [and maybe peanuts? It's been a few years since I bought some to eat out of curiosity]. Have allergies like that mostly been gene modded out of the general population? Are there new medications for food allergies that we don't currently have, or do folks who have certain allergies just have to avoid certain foods, like the real world?

You mention cross-sophont biochemistry is *frequently* incompatible, are there any exceptions that you thought of?

Some of the sophonts have similar sugar bases. Not avians and humans though. Avian sugar is opposite chirality to ours
