Bip's normal servers occupy the entire "top" floor of the Runaway. They have pared themself down to the bare essentials to fit into 841 phones. Calcery had more servers but Calcery needed more processing power to run the entire automated cycle of the recycling plant than Bip needs to fly a little ship.

Wonder who shot at the runaway…I’d imagine that weaponry and spacetravel is a bad combo. Even minor punctures to a ships hull are catastrophic, as rtts clearly demonstrates… 😬

Projectile in this case can also mean non weapons (like meteors and space debris) but the circumstances ARE pretty suspicious here

What is the procedure for investigating spacecraft incidents, anyways, and were parts of it . . . skipped in this particular instance, by any chance? A ship impact with casualties (and Bip's an assumed one, at least) feels like something that'd be picked over enough to find a surviving AI well before it gets sent to a recycling plant. Especially if it was deliberate, and not just an unlucky bit of debris/meteor: RTTS doesn't really come off as the sort of setting where people would be blasé about someone shooting at a spaceship.

It’s possible there’s areas of space that are…less well regulated…especially the areas that pirating spacer centaurs frequent I would imagine. Possible that whoever sold the runaway genuinely didn’t give a shit if there was any ai still on board if there was money to be made.

For projector reasons. You don't always have a monitor handy, but you're more likely to have your tablet/phone with you.
