WIP Animation: Gaskets (with audio) (Patreon)

This animation is slowly crawling towards completion. I'm never doing 35 seconds of mostly lipsync again. Also, I recorded voice lines for it, mostly because I needed better reference for the aforementioned lipsync. I was feeling a little too embarrassed to share this version but someone on the Discord server found the file I had uploaded to Vimeo to show a friend, so that band-aid's been ripped off. 

I don't claim to be a good voice actor or that I'm the 'canon' voices for these characters--  technically Shyam's voice is lower but I haven't been on testosterone as long as she has, so to speak. Also I'm nnnot that good at her accent, but she is from a bilingual Hindi/English background. Talita idfk what I'm doing with the audio editing but it's not quite where I'd like it to be and I think it has more to do with my ability to act her than anything in Audacity. Unfortunately it's kind of hard to find the privacy to practice babbling to myself in an alien voice. I like the effect of her voice sounding lower-then-pitched up though, it's unusual in a way that isn't overly computer-y. Not in love with the autotune. 

I should probably start scouring YouTube for help videos if I'm gonna keep doing this, and/or get a mic and recording setup that isn't... bad. Those are kind of pricey though and I'm still firmly in the "fucking about" stage of whatever this animation obsession is, so I'm going to wait for a bit before I start browsing $300+ hobbyist level mics.
