Might post this to social media later, might not? I need to figure out why my tablet isn't registering pressure sensitivity first. These pages lookin a little scruffy because I just powered through that instead of trying to fix it.

These two have had very different lives, yet something is pulling them closer...

This is beautiful and incredibly touching. And there's so many clever and subtle little details and flairs and visual metaphors that you've executed so well. I love this and would gladly read hundreds of pages of it.

I was hoping to see more interactions between when they first met and their first kiss!!

Ughhhh i love so many things in this so much

I haven't posted a comic of their FIRST kiss.... that one I'm keeping in my pocket for later

Oh!! It thought that other one where they built a fire in the yard was it!! Now I'm more curious!

AHHHHHH! Everything about this is the actual best! They are the actual best. And thank you So! Very! Damn! Much! for an older autistic character! So much relating happening right now. I seriously love everything about this. Their expressions as they move through the conversation, the clothing designs, the details... Thank you for the closer view of Shyam's fidget, btw. I have had so many questions about what growing up was like for them both. I still do, but it's so lovely to see them talking about it and learning more about each other! Also! That sneaky side glance of Talita's at Shyam in the golden light... *chef's kiss*

Main this is so cute and just really nice? It really feels like two people talking and bonding on a roof. Also the roof design is so nice it really feels like a place.

Dylan Bajda

This is really nice and their interactions are portrayed so naturally

The colors are so pretty! I really like the roof emphasizing their gazes meeting, on page 6, too.

Yeah I've found that there's a severe lack of adult autistic characters in fiction who are actually... written well, or are actually canonically autistic. I don't think a lot of neurotypical authors Get It and end up either writing us as parodies or accidentally. With Shyam it was kind of a funny revelation, because several years into building her character, I took a step back and was like, wait a second... I have given you all of my most autistic traits....

Love this little slice of life story between the two of them. 💜

I love both of them so much

I have seen a minuscule fraction of this series and it's already one of my favorites. You are such an excellent artist and storyteller. It feels like something I've been looking for but didn't know I was.

Actually this reminded me of a question I had. I made the connection between the various Centaur writing forms and Talita needing reading glasses and wondered if that would be the case for all Centaurs. Do their eyes not perform well with reading text?

Jay Eaton

Their vision is generally long-sighted and geared towards motion tracking, they have trouble focusing on small markings with dense textures, like most writing systems... Talita is not the only centaur in space with reading glasses. They're better at doing close range, fine detail stuff through touch, using the trunk as a manipulator.
