Finally decided what the writing on the outside of the Runaway looks like. God, my conlang skills are rusty, these days I only do it when it's a necessity.

This is an extremely non-standardized, recently pictographic written language used by nomadic centaurs mostly for signage. It's not really intended for long form sentence writing and characters tend to get mashed together into larger super-characters. Sentences generally are read up-down and to the right, but they may also wind around the subject in a counterclockwise spiral if space is an issue. Additionally, character meanings may depending on their spatial relationship to the subject-- here the "more than" barbs mean something different if placed to the side of the subject complex, but they also need to specify what the subject is lesser than, so "you" appears here twice.

The phrase was written on the ship as a mostly accurate taunt, seeing how the Runaway is a speedy dual-engine torchship and the old crew could sprint an average of 100 kph. The bitter irony is that they were not fast enough to avoid the projectile that punctured the hull and junked the vessel.

Is the "I" base of a pictogram of a centaur head? it kinda looks like it and that seems neat!

Yes, "I" is an abstracted pictogram of a face and "you" is an abstracted pictogram of a body!
