Got distracted last night trying to figure out the animation tools in clip studio paint, made this instead of completing the comic pages. Pages will go up later today.

Edit: Pages are up. Gonna boot this out onto social media.

Oh nothing, Talita. Just looking at your pretty feathers.

Also didn't realize until the other day that she talks with her trunk lips

This looks really nice! Speaking of Talita speaking- what does her voice sound like? Also, what did the bug ferrets sound like when speaking earlier outside of the nasal consonant issue? Iirc you've talked about how avians sound on the blog, but I can't remember if you have about centaurs/bug ferrets (unless there was something about centaurs sounding nasal?)

I thought she spoke out of her trunk based on some speech bubbles originating there, but it's good to see confirmation! Also, hi, new here, very interested to learn about this world!

Tonally centaurs sound sort of high-register and buzzy, like a kazoo or a rhinoceros. They're generally the best of any of the aliens at speaking human languages. Talita's first language is Jovian English and her voice is very similar to a cis human woman with that accent, but she still definitely doesn't sound like a human.

Never heard what rhinos sound like before and oh my god, lmao. That's adorable.

Oh man, that must be nice. No worries about choking on their food!

Hello welcome, happy to have you here! Feel free to ask questions, I am a walking encyclopedia of made-up facts about this setting, lol

I was wondering, are ferrets and avians like centaurs or like humans in regard to air and food tube arrangements? As in, do they have to worry about choking? Or is that something that never even occurs to them?
