More Talita Caretakers (Patreon)

I posted a pic of Talita’s higher education sponsor/mentor/boss/weird ambiguous parent, who I’m either naming Brook or Kim, but she had two others before them.

Douglas was her primary childhood caretaker, and was endeared with her from the moment an infant Talita showed up on the orphanage doorstep (in a cat carrier. Infant centaurs can run). She still has a close relationship with him and visits as often as she can, so he can ruffle her feather-fur and declare that she’s definitely grown another 3 feet while she was away.

Talita aged out of the orphanage at 14, but was given an extra year of care because they had difficulty finding a foster home that was willing to take her. Otília was the one who eventually stepped up; having worked with centaur trafficking victims before she had a better knowledge of the space and furnishings a near-adult centaur would need. Talita only spent 3 years with her before going to university full time, and isn’t as close to her. She mostly sends holiday cards and visits if she’s in the area.
