I am from Germany so I have a different perspective on tips but I DESPISE that delivery kid. I did that job for two years when I was younger, I would never dream of being shitty to someone that just gave me free money, no matter how little it was (sure I'd grumble in the car, lol). Hey German. That delivery kid is probably making $2/hr and tips help make up the rest of his income. $1 on a bill that size is bullshit. We don’t have quality of life like the EU does.
