There's a lot that makes a script great, but I'd love to see what films are uniquely great in their ways of executing the story, characters, and even appearing two steps ahead of the audience. Mysteries, dramas, sci-fi, action..all are great genres for screenwriters to bend the stories and engage the audience. What are some examples of great screen writing in films you'd like for me to study and experience?

Despite it being a true story, foxcatcher is up there with some of the best more silent depictions of characters I’ve ever seen in screenwriting alongside performance. So is the social network, on a more blatant level.
