"Look at that Location!"

Vote on what I should watch and react to next! This Poll will end most likely Thursday Morning and I'll choose the TOP 2 to react to Thursday and Friday.

No worries, I plan on actually prolonging these recommendations so don't trip if you don't see your selection on here first!

Some films I actually seen in theaters myself this year. Only seen them once though.

You know what is a great location film? Original Dawn of the Dead. I was watching the commentary for it the other day and Romero wasn't even interested in making a sequel until he saw that mall. Then it was all he could think about.

Jason Cooley

Aguirre Wrath of God is one of the absolute finest films ever made. You will think about it for the rest of your life.

Ken Myers

Paris, Texas? How about Happy, Texas, which was a very good flick that no one has reacted to.

Kaitlin

Just jumping in to say Michael Clayton is that good.

Rant Casey

Bummed American Sniper is doing so well. Chris Kyle was a liar and a fraud.

PureGonzo

THANK YOU. I’m glad somebody said it. It’s shocking how many people still aren’t aware.

you want a Location film, I highly highly recommend The Night House - it's a really fun one that plays with the overall location of the film, cinematography, and expectations that come with a horror movie. Clerks is also a great movie with only about 3 locations used throughout the first movie. Also an example of filmmaking on a pretty tight budget

Sheesh Monos is copping an absolute pasting! Even Croc Dundee 2 has more votes. This the same mob that voted for Under the Skin? Where'd all my movie-movie peeps go?

Yours truly, Johnny Dollar

The movie nerds loose more often than they win. I could give a long list of great directors that have never won one of these polls.

Kaitlin

Darlin’, we got Harold and Maude. We win plenty. It’s just sometimes the film bros get their crap selected. 😂

Tetley

I actually love this sort of democracy. Something for everyone.

Linda

American Sniper also? Yikes. That poll just screams "sausage fest."

Chris Martin

New one for the list. Locations? 80’s NYC and medieval Scotland. One of the biggest cult classics. Highlander (1986)! Did not see it in your videos.

Nathanael Hammett

Just watched it for the first time, and yeah it was a lot better than I ever thought it would be. I think when it first came out I was just thinking “Oh, another Clooney flick🙄” and skipped it. That was my bad. Not gonna lie though, as a person with bipolar disorder as well as a few family members, it was a bit of a tough watch at times, but that’s a serious credit to Tom Wilkinson. He deserved that Oscar nod.

ryan

damn a handful of great films being beat out by fuckin American Sniper

Linda

Chris Kyle was a filthy POS. And I just don't know what to think about anyone who admires him. Sorry, not sorry.

Tetley

How does everyone/anyone feel about a couple of early 2000s crime movies as showcases for location: Sexy Beast (2000) and Ripley's Game (2002)? Got some cool European locales. There's also some pretty delicious and unconventional villainy on display from John Malkovich and Sir Ben Kingsley.

Linda

Those are fab recommendations.
