Most "commercial" Indian movies are long (2.5 to 3 hours). However, every commercial movie in India has an intermission built into the screenplay. The story is written in such a way that something important (like a major revelation or a cool action sequence) happens just before the intermission and the screen cuts out. In Indian theaters, you get a 10 min break where you can grab more snacks, go to restroom etc. In RRR, the intermission point happens after the palace animal attack sequence where a "graphic" of two hands holding with a rope pops up. After that scene, you can clearly notice the focus of the movie shifts. So, if ever you end up watching more Indian movies, you can break it up into two parts and watch it in two separate sittings. It wouldn't alter your viewing experience much because most commercial movies are intended to be seen that way.

Titanic was like that, with an intermission. I saw that back when it first came out in theaters.
