Walts speech in front of the school.. Always figured he hated that assembly (it's weird as hell to a non-american lol) and decided to torpedo it enough so that the boss would be like "Ok let's stop this before anyone else says some dumb stuff"

What you said is well put, that Walter "kicked off the domino" that led to the plane crash. He didn't kill Jane, but that same night she wouldn't have died if he didn't come into Jessie's crib and by shaking him, rolled her over. What's hilarious during that horrible speech at the school, is that Walt did research on past plane crashes to find worse ones to help him justify his inaction in his mind.
