It was a brilliant decision casting Sean Connery as Indiana Jones Dad. Not only cast against his typical roles and was brilliant doing it, but just knowing that James Bond playing Indiana Jones Dad brought all the Bond fans to the Last Crusade film as well.

Also, the guy at the beginning the gives Indiana Jones his hat is supposed to be Abner Ravenwood, Marion’s (first Indiana Jones girl) father. One of his lackeys was supposed to say his name in the film, but Spielberg cut it out of the film because he thought it took away from the film.

Also young Indiana Jones at the beginning of the film was River Phoenix, Joaquin Phoenix’s late brother. Died way to young at 23 from drugs.

Also, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull the next Indiana Jones film is not a bad film. Just disappointing in quality compared to the others, but it’s a good entertaining watch if you know what to expect going in. James though you might enjoy it because it combines two of your favorite genres action adventure and science fiction. It will never win a poll due to how people just like it so so or just hate it, but personally I think you would like it, but just not at the level of the first three.

The last Indiana Jones film comes out next year with Harrison back for one last adventure as Indy. Started shooting this one at age 79. Got a lot of faith in this one due to the Director and the cast. James Mangold (Walk the Line; Logan; Ford v Ferrari) is directing the last adventure (Spielberg still producing) and the cast is Harrison Ford, Mads Mikkelsen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, Boyd Holbrook, Toby Jones, and Thomas Kretschmann.
