What’s fun about the Indiana Jones franchise is with each film feels different but also the same as well.: Raiders is your straight up action adventure story, Temple of Doom is them trying to create a dark version of Indiana Jones that would take it up to limit just not getting to the R rating (Temple of Doom is the reason we have the PG-13 rating now; was created right after this); The Last Crusade is a father and son character study with an action/adventure thrown in; and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is how can we combine Indiana Jones with sci-fi elements. But still have the same Indy in each one.

Please skip kingdom of the crystal skull. Just pretend there are three and stick with those.

There is only a trilogy of Indiana Jones films. Hilariously, my Crystal Skull steelbook was backwards when I bought the collection recently. Even they know LOL

Crystal Skull is not unwatchable. Just disappointing that not up to the level of some of the others. But I felt the same way about Temple of Doom as well. 1&3 are the best. The series tends to do better when based on actual folklore and not something they made up. Me personally I like Crystal Skull better than Temple of Doom. Part of that is some of Crystal Skull’s folklore is 1/4 based on actual and Temple of Doom just pretty much completely made up. Here’s how I would rank the Indiana Jones franchise best to first: The Last Crusade, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and Temple of Doom.

Fun fact that scene where Inidi just ups and shoots the swordsman in the market came about because Harrison had a bad stomach virus and couldn’t really move much on that day of shooting. Personally I think it came out much better and funnier this way.

Are you kidding me?! You don't give us the actual start of the movie to line up with?!!!!!!!! Are you actually fucking kidding me?!!!!!!!!!!! Just when you think you have seen it all. Here's an idea, keep fucking playing the opening clip until the actual movie starts, but oh no instead just say fuck you patreons. Clearly I will never return here again.
