Hardcore Henry is still one of my most fun experiences in a theater ever. It’s definitely not the best movie on this list, but it’s a unique movie and an overall good time 👍

Glad to see The Fall is back. The visuals are really interesting in that one. Also wondering if James has seen Gross Pointe Blank? That would be a nice comedy to add to the polls (which are pretty drama heavy).

DOWNFALL!!! It's an amazing movie, Bruno Gans should have won an Oscar, powerful film, takes you deep into the Fuhrerbunker at the end of WW2. It's like being in a bad dream! You won't be disappointed!!!

Okay guys this week let’s show Tarkovsky some love I know I say it every week but come on folks we’re so close!!!! I’ve never truly understood the love 300 gets it’s a pretty mediocre film while everything else on this list is vastly superior.

My three preferences 1 Stalker 2 Downfall 3 Delicatessan Three such different films. As others above have commented, 300 is such a dated/mediocre film (even if it does have David Wenham) especially in context of the other films.

the making of Stalker might be as insane as Apocalypse Now’s making, literally led to Tarkovsky’s death

Not just Tarkovsky, but also his wife, Larisa Tarkovskya, and one of the main actors in the film (the writer) Anatoly Solonitsyn. Many others who were in the crew for any of the three (!!) times it was filmed died early from similar diseases. All three died from cancer of the right bronchial tube.
