Gotta finally get Moon in the top 2! Keep up the great content.

Can we please get Call Me By Your Name up at the top this time? Such a beautiful film. 🙏🏻

This is finally Jesse James' poll, I can feel it in my veins.

Cody Price

Out of this list I would say Ford v Ferrari and Tombstone as my top two in this list. The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford would be third.

I’m chanting Barry on my couch as if I was at a Bee Gees concert

Moon is amazing. I remember working at the theatre when it came out. Recommended it to everyone who came in

Perhaps in addition to trainspotting 2 - please also consider checking out The Acid House, an absolutely surreal Irish film based on another Irving welsh novel that stars much of the same cast as trainspotting, and made around the same time as the original trainspotting. The acid house is just as funny,/strange/horrifying/strange/brilliant as trainspotting - and was critical in my film exploration. Check out the trailer to see if you are interested, or watch the whole film on YouTube at https://youtu.be/_hajtcGZY98

James Miller

Hoping for Moon and Split. Split is the movie that made me love james mccavoy as an actor, he’s amazing in that film

The Big Lebowski, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Natural Born Killer!!!!!!

Mike B

So little love for My Cousin Vinny. Not the most creative movie but damn it's SO funny.

There are so many good choices: Moon, Barry Lyndon (one of my favorites) but Wages of Fear is fun, and by extension so is Sorcerer. Great soundtrack

Anonymous

Sorcerer is a very good movie but I prefer the original, The Wages Of Fear. The French movie from 1955 doesn't suffer from the censorship in American movies from that period and the characters are just amazing. Feels like watching a long forgotten species of mankind fighting against the threat of extinction.

Dustin Bruce

In my opinion it's among the best comedies ever made. Very few comedies ever use their screen time as efficiently for so much great characterization while still making you laugh. I'd even go so far as to call it the Seven Samurai of comedy. That is, if that title didn't already belong to Some Like It Hot!

Shehab Dawoud

Wrote this in the latest poll but perhaps you didn't see it. Barry Lyndon is not one of Kubrick's more popular movies. If a Kubrick movie should be on the poll, it should be The Shining. It's the one that people know the most and definitely the most layered one.

Dustin Bruce

I used to love American Beauty, but these days I just can't watch Kevin Spacey perving over a teenager for two hours. Too bad because it's a fantastic film with a message that really stays with you.

Lily

COME ON AMERICAN BEAUTY 😩

Lily

also can't wait to see 'the big lebowski' on the next poll! i have high hopes

Anonymous

I will never, ever stop fighting for Barry Lyndon.

Sonia Deepak

Could you please consider adding Gattaca to your list? You also might like Last of the Mohicans

Dustin Bruce

I'm all about this list! I'd add True Romance in there too. Would be great to see James's reaction to Gary Oldman in that movie compared to how he was in Leon: The Professional.

Dustin Bruce

In my humble opinion, My Cousin Vinny is just about the best comedy ever made. Very few comedies ever use their screen time as efficiently for so much great characterization while constantly making you laugh. All the actors in the movie get their time to shine and fill out their characters, and it's really one of the most underrated comedy casts ever between Joe Pesci, Marissa Tomei, and Herman Munster himself Fred Gwynn in his final film before passing away. It's a must watch, from back once upon a time when comedy films were still allowed to win Academy Awards.

Red Tail Zephier

Damn lots of huge choices, Sorcerer is gonna get overlooked for sure, might have to be a Thurs pick cause not to many people know about it, I love that film

Anonymous

Thanks for this definitely gonna check it out! Keep on Truckin'

The Game! A really hidden unknown gem - I think one of Michael Douglas' best. Fantastic thriller/mystery.

Anonymous

Anyone recommend Die Hard yet? 🎄🔫

Cifer

Too many good choices lol, but go Moon!

Mark Campbell

Damn, those are some good choices, but I have to go with Barry Lyndon. As much as you love cinematography you'll love Barry Lyndon.

Anonymous

Some other fantastic, not well known "hidden gems"... Michael Douglas - Falling Down; Kurt Russel - Big Trouble in Little China (1986), Soldier (1998), Escape From ... (series)

Angie

Do you take requests? If so, please consider adding, if you haven’t already seen it, Wong Kar Wai’s In the Mood for Love. Christopher Doyle’s cinematography is absolutely sumptuous.

Angie

Also, a few fun ones: Edge of Tomorrow, Moulin Rouge, Office Space

James Miller

Whoa can't believe Moon and Split won. I'm one happy guy

Lily

was really rooting for american beauty 🤧 i’m depressed, split kinda trash too

Barry Lyndon is the single most visually impressive film ever put to celluloid. Kubrick did something astonishing with that film. Id even rate the visuals above Lawrence of Arabia. For my second, voted for Jesse James, because it’s not far behind. Roger Deakins firing on all cylinders is truly a sight to behold.

Hey guys, new around here. Who do I bribe so James reacts to the incredible 'Interstellar' .
