Haunting but incredible movie. For being so dark and brutal though it definitely has some beautiful shots. The 'portrait' shots in particular with the character staring directly into the lens are particularly unnerving. Apparently they used real bullets and actually killed the cow which is kinda disturbing =\ p.s. i think at some point you were trying to think of split diopter lens

That movie is a masterpiece. I got to watch it for my first time weeks ago and it chilled me to the bone. It still lingers in my mind to this day and is such a truly haunting experience.
