Can I suggest Annihilation? It's a Sci fi horror from Alex Garland, it's a Netflix movie and it's excellent!!!

I’ve been meaning to see “Moonrise Kingdom”, so this will be a great way to see it. I have to suggest “Good Will Hunting” if you haven’t seen it yet. So clever, full of heart, and moving. “The Prestige” as well - so well written, brilliant, and mind blowing.

You should also add "The Cook, the Thief, His Wife and her lover (1989) - Peter Greenway. It is not an easy movie to watch but is one that anyone who studies movies should see. I saw it in theater when it was released and my ex-boyfriend is STILL giving me a hard time about dragging him to see it. This is a classic and it is taught in many movie classes.

Curious if you’ve seen anything else from Alex garland? His two directed films Ex Machina and Annihilation are great dark sci fi as well as one of his lesser known written films Never Let Me Go, which is an early outing for many now A list actors and emotionally devastating
