"What's the scuttlebutt?" I'm glad James is confused by this and it's not a well-known phrase anymore. Dwight talking in Episode 4 gave me flashbacks to extremely annoying office conversations I used to get into with co-workers who would actually use this phrase. In real life, this is as cringy as it's portrayed in "The Office". The early seasons of "The Office" hit hard for me when originally watching them because it was a realistic extreme of what I was going through as an office worker at the time. Topics this show addresses such as choosing ones health care coverage every single year and those plans being decided on by people whose goal is to maximize profit while saving money is a real thing.

fun fact i learned listening to the office ladies pod the parking lot in the early season was actually where the cast would park so that's their real cars. John asked rainn to please only kick the tires during that seen when the alarm goes off.
