Getting right into the mix with Season 3 of Mr. Robot! I'm so hyped and excited to dive back into this world. The atmosphere, the music, characters, and themes are so damn entertaining to think over and watch unfold. Let's get right into it!

Oh, anybody can die any time in this show. Think Gideon, Romero, Cisco. Aint nobody safe. Whilst I wouldn't for a second say if this show goes science fiction or not - Sam Esmail definitely does science fiction: between s3 and s4 of this he directed a show called Homecoming where he picked up, lets say, a lot of tricks as far as directing and cinematography, some shots from that show he uses directly in s4 of this. It's kinda cool to see the genesis if you have seen both. He's also working on a BSG show in the Moore reboot universe, which literally everybody is hyped to the gills about. Strap in, you're in for a wild ride. Oh, p.s. I'm a huge fan of Bobby Cannavale, one of the best character actors around..

James, it's wild but: every set of episodes is this good until the final credits roll. This is why Mr Robot fans so fervently recommend the show 💀 it hits an unbelievable, hellish bent. I watch the daft punk Angela monologue from 3x1 on YouTube a lot. Something about the build up is just sublime. Her whole secret relationship with Mr Robot, while still knowing and talking to (and loving) Elliot... what a complex, delicious thing. When they cut to the wide and she sees Rami staring back, god damn. Things only this show can pull off.

Homecoming S1 is fire. I've described this show as "pre-cyberpunk" before. It's like the thing that happens before the thing that happens before Blade Runner, or Cyberpunk 2077.

I never felt like Joanna's story was going anywhere, outside of her husband she had no real connection to anything.

After Elliot asked Angela to please keep an eye on him, to help him, because he doesn't have anyone else he can tust and to then be slapped in the face with Angela taking advantage of his illness, using him for her own gains, that's the moment I lost all respect for her. She became a Character I loved to hate. Amazingly written and acted, but damn it do I resent that.
