October 2022 Patreon Stuff (Patreon)

The leaves have begun to fall and grisly ghouls are rising up to seal our doom. But that's not important. Let's talk about stuff on the Patreon.

First and foremost, I recently changed the way my Patreon works to be more like a standard monthly subscription. New Patrons who pledge will be charged the day they subscribe and from then on each following month on the same day. (Example: If you pledge on October 5th, you will be charged again on November 5th, December 5th, and so on). Existing Patrons will still be charged on the 1st of the month as before.

This change it to avoid the risk of double charging people who come in late in the month. It also gives me a bit more freedom to put out more content without having to worry as much about when pledges expire.

Enough talk about business stuff, let's move onto what's actually happening on the Patreon content wise.

I am getting very close to finishing up "The Totally Slobby Spies" story. Once that's done, I intend to finish up last month's story poll winner and hopefully have a chance to fit in an extra story during my free time. $3 and up Patrons will be able to read these stories, along with WIP previews, one day early.

Writing prompt requests for this month are now open! Considering what month we're in, feel free to submit spooky themed prompts to get us in the spirit. Just be aware that I intend to do a large batch of Halloween themed stories during my annual Halloween writing prompt request session.

Suggestions for this month's story poll are now open! Just like with the prompts, you are free to submit Halloween themed stories if you wish. Although be aware that said story wouldn't be finished until some time in November. Submissions are open until October 14th at 11:59 PM CST so make sure you get them in as soon as possible to account for any changes or edits needed.
