   Away on vacation, Veronica made it a point to check on the local spellcaster scene in San Francisco. Entering the little corner store that no mortal would notice, Veronica appreciated the way the woman at the counter glanced over her red dress and flowing blonde hair. The woman’s awestruck expression was tampered slightly as Veronica whispered the words that both identified her as a witch and asked for the permission to see the shop’s “special” section. Nodding eagerly, the clerk gestured for Veronica to follow her behind a beaded curtain into a back room.

   The clerk went into great detail about the various objects on the shelves, each one holding hints of leftover magic. While there were many things that caught Veronica’s interest, she found herself drawn to a something that looked quite out of place. As she approached the brightly colored dildo to better appreciate its unnatural design. The clerk was quick to explain that it was called “The Tower” and that it had been imbued with the previous owner’s magic through very direct means. More than a little curious, Veronica threw caution to the wind and placed her hand against the tip.

   Veronica’s body began to morph and distort as she took on the visage of the sex toy’s previous owner. She had expected it to belong to some fledgling college girl or experienced porn star, making it all the more surprising when her hair fell out and a thick, black beard grew along her chin. A bulbous nose went along with the dumpy belly that stretched out her dress. Spreading her hairy legs apart, she pushed forward by the presence of a hunch in her back. Left at half her size and unrecognizable from her old self, Veronica brushed her callused fingers against the bulge against her skirt and heard the name “Ronald the Warlock” echo through her head.

   “San Francisco is a weird place,” Veronica commented, shuffling past the horrified clerk to continue casually browsing the store.
