This mod was adopted from ShuSanR, who announced back in February 2022 that they would stop modding and playing with the Sims 4.

Update Notes to Version 2.0.0

Because ShuSanR didn't number its mod versions, I randomly start with the number of version 2.0.0. I like numbering...

This mod was a very cool idea but it didn't work for me anymore. I've updated the mod, but I've basically revised it. The problem with the original mod was that ShuSanR overwrote all interactions in bed. Unfortunately, this is very dangerous and error-prone. There is a high risk of having to update it often. In addition, the code comparison after each game update is very tedious, and it can lead to many incompatibilities with other override mods. This is a very unfavorable way... 

I made the mod much more efficient in my opinion. I actually almost completely rewrote the code, so there's hardly any talk of ShuSanR's mod anymore. Only the idea remained. I rewrote the code so that not all bed interactions are overwritten, only the "buff_Sim_IsSleeping" or "buff_Sim_IsSleeping_Hidden" buffs. So updating is much easier.

It is a mod requested by one of my followers on Bilibili.

I don't mind sims wearing shoes sleeping tbh, but the mod comes out pretty good and makes me feel better watching the sims napping in bed with no shoes on.

Since it is for the base game, there is no animation about taking off the shoes before sleep, and the shoes will take off while they are asleep, it means sims would go to sleep wearing the shoes but getting up with no shoes on.

They will put on the shoes autonomously after getting up.

I didn't make any changes about the woohoo or other interactions in beds, only for sleeping and napping.

General Installation Instructions

• Back up your current save files just in case!
• Download the zip archive and extract all files!
• Move the unzipped folder to your Sims 4 Mods folder!
• Path: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
• Please delete all files of the previous version of the mod first!
• Delete the game cache files (how)!
