Some modders create modding diaries or tutorials for their patrons. I don't know if I could offer something like this on a regular basis, but something like an irregular blog would be possible. So I'll start with the last difficult birth...

In the game you see a nice hairy body like this:

In reality, though, it's a monster like this:

(I made the background green so you can see what the file looks like. In reality, the background is transparent).

My task was to create four separate files from such a complex image: for legs, for arms, for chest/abs and for the back. For textures with less hair, this can be cut apart. It still takes time, but that's just time. In the case of very hairy textures, simple cutting is not possible. You have to do some artistic magic there. Considering how many colors there are (black, brown, dark brown, chestnut, blonde, gray) and that for each color (light hairy, medium hairy, very hairy) you go through all the variants one by one. In the middle of work it wasn't funny anymore. But the time was too good for me to stop midway. But done now. I like how I made it. However, I refrained from recoloring in all 24 colors. It really doesn't have to be...

So please write if you are interested in reading posts like this one. And what you would like to read more about. I'm curious.
