Better Pie Menu Conflicts (Patreon)

Hello Dear Supporters,

I have now received information that my Better Pie Menu mod conflicts with the mod The One With All The Romance by katie_mods. I have checked this and it is correct. Unfortunately, I cannot resolve this conflict. I looked into this mod to see why this conflict is occurring and was very surprised at first that there are actually no resources with the same IDs, which would explain the conflict. So it was a mystery to me why it would then lead to a problem.

Then I examined the IDs even more closely. In this mod, FNV32 was used for pie menus instead of FNV64 (see screenshot). Because all modders are supposed to use FNV64 for all resources (except Traits and RealBits), this mod may unexpectedly conflict with other mods, as unfortunately happened with my Better Pie Menu. Please use this mod with caution, especially if you have a lot of custom content. The problem can only be solved if the author changes the IDs from FNV32 to FNV64.

General Pie Menu

The General Pie Menu from Adeepindigo only affects Adeepindigo's mods and has nothing to do with general pie menus in the game. So there is no conflict with my Better Pie Menu. The name is confusing, I know. But you can use both mods without worry.

The Better Pie Menu Mod is an override mod, so it can easily conflict with other mods if those mods also override the existing pie menus in the game. More information about the conflicts can be found on the mod description page here.
